Ed Miliband: “David Cameron, Nick Clegg and myself were all shaped, in a way, by the politics of Lady Thatcher and the way she defined the politics ~ particularly of the 1980s”

Ed Miliband: “Margaret Thatcher was a ‘unique political figure”.

Mr Miliband offered his condolences to Baroness Thatcher’s family and her children, Mark and Carol, in particular.

“Of course she was controversial, we disagreed with much of what she did as a Labour Party, but we can disagree and also hugely respect her extraordinary achievements and her extraordinary personal strength,”

he said.

“When I think about it, David Cameron, Nick Clegg and myself were all shaped, in a way, by the politics of Lady Thatcher, and the way she defined the politics particularly of the 1980s.”

He added that, although the former prime minister had been a deeply divisive figure at the height of her power, she had shown the “utmost courage and dignity” in her final years, when he health was failing.

We’re sure Ed Miliband speaks for all (of Neoliberal ‘Labour’)

“Now is not the time for party politics which is why we’ve suspended our campaigning as mark of respect”

This demand for respectful silence in the wake of Thatcher’s death is not just misguided but dangerous Posted on April 8, 2013

Oh what fun we had
Oh what fun we had

Please don’t ask me to shed a tear for her. I say damn good riddance.. I remember what she was up to 40 years ago. She decimated our industries, privatised our railways, gas, electric and water etc. Just look at the costs today, the bosses make millions and we have to pay them to do it. Just look at the Coal Industry, not only did the mines close down after the mob violence of our Police Force, she destroyed whole communities across these islands.
Maggie Thatcher did nowt for me, nowt for the majority of the population of this country..and the ‘three’ party leaders pay homage…what bloody fools.

I saw a newspaper picture from the political campaign
A woman was kissing a child, who was obviously in pain
She spills with compassion, as that young child’s
Face in her hands she grips
Can you imagine all that greed and avarice
Coming down on that child’s lips

Well I hope I don’t die too soon
I pray the lord my soul to save
Oh I’ll be a good boy, I’m trying so hard to behave
Because there’s one thing I know, I’d like to live
    Long enough to savour
That’s when they finally put you in the ground
I’ll stand on your grave and tramp the dirt down

When England was the whore of the world
    Margaret was her madam
And the future looked as bright and as clear as
    The black tarmacadam
Well I hope that she sleeps well at night, isn’t
    Haunted by every tiny detail
Cos when she held that lovely face in her hands
All she thought of was betrayal

And now the cynical ones say that it all ends the same in the long run
Try telling that to the desperate father who just squeezed the life from his only son
And how it’s only voices in your head and dreams you never dreamt
Try telling him the subtle difference between justice and contempt
Try telling me she isn’t angry with this pitiful discontent
When they flaunt it in your face as you line up for punishment
And then expect you to say thank you straighten up, look proud and pleased
Because you’ve only got the symptoms, you haven’t got the whole disease
Just like a schoolboy, whose heads like a tin-can
Filled up with dreams then poured down the drain
Try telling that to the boys on both sides, being blown to bits or beaten and maimed
Who takes all the glory and none of the shame

Well I hope you live long now, I pray the lord your soul to keep
I think I’ll be going before we fold our arms and start to weep
I never thought for a moment that human life could be so cheap
Cos when they finally put you in the ground
They’ll stand there laughing and tramp the dirt down

Today should go down in history as Thatcher propaganda Day – the day the british media shut out the citizens of this country in order to support the fascist elite. After years of vile propaganda against disabled people and the poor and the unemployed the stench of vile hypocisy rises above the land. At the same time the fascist elites are killing disabled people for fun

WHAT A FOUL, DECADENT, ANTI-DEMOCRATIC CABAL OF FASCIST ELITES WE HAVE IN THIS COUNTRY

With any luck, the horrible bastards passing away, should fuel the fire of why we detest her evil policies that are prevalent today.

Hopefully a wake up call to everybody out there why we should put this heinous regime to sleep, once and for all!

What truly sickens me, is the labour politicians paying tribute…..

Her evil resonates today in the ghost towns she single handedly created. Its strange that we identify someone who did all this badness by offering a state funeral of a hero.

A gallows or firing squad was a worthier send off for this vitriolic bitch.

I helped deliver food collections to the miners, her policies have redirected the food collections to the poorest…..

The class war is starting to gather momentum. I know which side of the divide i would rather stand…….

Welfare Reform Act, the first barrage of hate from the elite against the classless.

People power can rid of this shower……..
