HomeBlack Triangle NewsVictory for Black Triangle Campaign as Doctors’ union finally agrees to spread the word on ‘life-saving’ WCA rules

Just in time as IDS has already proposed to remove or reduce the importance of regs 29/35.

As the numbers of people gaining exceptions via these two regs, IDS has already decided that they should be modified/removed. I wish I could find the article now as its (IDS’s) vindictiveness in removing something that protected people just because it was being used is indicative of his thought processes.

Well done John and Black Triangle!

You have finally got the BMA committed, that is provided they will honour their words with actions!

It will certainly be a success of a significant magnitude, to get medical practitioners (incl. GPs) made aware of how they could and should respond to the WCA and protect their patients from being sent to the DWP commissioned assessors ill prepared.

This is years overdue, and it is incredible that sick, injured and disabled were ever exposed to the high risks many faced.

Doctors have a Code of Ethics to follow, and this will be a way of them to ensure their patients are treated more fairly and with more respect.

In this you seem well ahead of what we face down here in New Zealand, where the social security department ‘Work and Income’ has just started to go down the road the UK’s DWP had been going for years. They are now running “trials” with mentally ill, to get them into employment.

The WCA must be scrapped altogether, and replaced with a fairer, better and balanced “test”, that is not used and abused to simply pressure the weakest of the weak into whatever jobs or ESA work related activities.

Here is a post of interest, also reflecting on what your WCA Reviewer commented on things to look at in New Zealand. He appears to have been poorly advised re “welfare reforms” and “assessments” in use here:

People that work in the medical profession, ESPECIALLY DOCTORS, take a hippocratic oath not to cause suffering to patients?

Stow and Maximus ‘s ‘doctors’ have clearly violated this oath and Black Triangle should start a campaign to get these people struck off!

There’s no escape clause for them!

They have to abide by this oath.
If Maximus and Amos state they come from Europe, then they must have the necessary paperwork work to validate this, including the hippocratic oath to operate within the UK and western European countries!

    Stow meant to say Atos.
