‘Disability activists prepare to protest against Atos’ ~ Sourcingfocus ~ portal for the sourcing industry

Protesters are preparing to launch a series of campaigns against Olympic sponsor and IT outsourcer Atos.

One of the campaigns will include a gathering outside Atos’ UK headquarters this afternoon, in remembrance of those who have died since being declared fit for work by the group.

The demonstrations are aimed at highlighting perceived failings of Atos’ role in assessing disability employment support allowance.

The Independent revealed today that more than 40 doctors and nurses employed by the French IT company, had been reported for professional misconduct.

  1. DAVID A SHAW says:

If they are ‘ Healthcare professionals ‘ …….care and professional being the operative words here, should not all ATOS assessors be charged with professional misconduct ?

  2. Andrew Healey says:

Not only should these so called Health Care Professionals be charged with misconduct, they have completely ignored their Hippocratic Oath, they are required by law to provide a duty of care, treat people with dignity and have respect for their disability’s. All of them should be struck off the medical register, never again be allowed anywhere near the sick and or disabled, just like the BASTARDS who worked in the care homes and should be joining the ranks of the unemployed A.S.A.P..
