e-petition - Stop Unfair Re-assessments For Disabled People
Responsible department: Department for Work and Pensions
Stop the unfair and cruel re-assessments via ATOS for disabled people currently on Incapacity Benefit. ESA is a flawed benefit, and puts terrible pressure and stress on vulnerable people, putting people who cannot work on lesser benefits and applying sanctions. Let disabled people decide for themselves if they can work, they and their carers know best.

Well done for telling the ‘TRUTH’ Glenda..well done..
Glenda should be labour leader, not that watered down tory milliband!
Glenda is too good for Tory Labour. Labour are no good for anyone at all except themselves and their Thatcherite policies that keep them laughing all the way to the bank along with their right wing fascist friends.
Congratulations Glenda, you said what most of us were thinking but the others were afraid to say.
Whatever the opposition or members of your lily livered bench think, you are my hero!
You showed true bottle by defining what Thatcherism did to our country. The arseholes on the other side were fuming.
I dont know what instructions the party whip gave you beforehand, but you did right to throw away any preconceived shackles and speak your mind……..
Whatever the party says, hold your head up lass, you did us proud!
Ding Dong the witch is dead………
Hope the funeral turns into a farce. Dont forget the main guest, the Queen, gave royal assent to the Welfare Reform Act. Birds of a feather, the fuck you jack i’m all alright squad.
Paint a skip black………………..
Well done and well said Glenda Jackson .
Maybe the Queen will snuff it at Thatchers funeral and give us all a laugh. Well done Glenda!
WELL DONE GLENDA, THATCHER THE CHILDRENS MILK SNATCHER, PIP MEANS POVERTY INTOLERABLE PAIN, THE QUEEN HAS NOW SHOWN HER TRUE COLOURS FUCK UM, THEY OUGHT TO GET PEOPLE TO MAKE BOG ROLLS FOR CAMERON AND IDS WITH THEIR FACES ON EVERY SHEET (CAMS&IDS’S), LIKE THEY DID FOR THATCHER WHEN SHE WAS IN,
SO WE COULD ALL ENJOY WIPING OUR ARSES ON THEM!
Very well said indeed. Like the others here I lived through those years and find myself appalled that the party which was so strong in opposition to the policies of greed and envy is now embracing them as hard or harded than the party that put them forwards to start with. If nothing else history should inform us what things are so reprehensible that they should never be allowed to occur again. Homelessness and vilification of the weak are two of those but they are already coming back fiercely and destructively. We should know that when governments habitually lie to the people and follow their own self interest that something is wrong. As Glenda says, these are not virtues they are faults.
well she told it how it was as is becoming again under mr camoron, total awfalness of the deat of many many disabled people and mass homelessnes.
anyone can become disabled or indeed homeless ..jeff lph ..

Truly inspirational Glenda! With all the unwarranted praise presently being heaped on the abhorrent Thatcher. Glenda is a rare breath of fresh air a true humanitarian who courageously and gallantly stood and spoke the truth, I applaud her.
Glenda Jackson is the calibre of person who should be heaped with praise and admiration it’s a sad reflection on our society that the opposite is now true.
The babel from the rabble almost drowning her out shows what a loutish, ill-bred grade of representatives we now have in government.
Look at the bottom of the screen, was that Cameron leaving as soon as Glenda Jackson was announced? He probably knew what was coming and didn’t have the common decency to stand and listen, the spineless bastard!!!
Glenda Jackson said it how it was.
Well said Glenda
AND WE ALL KNOW GLENDA WHO’S GONNA PAY FOR THAT FUCKERS SENDOFF!
“The corporate and financial elite that runs the United States has long complained of the “unreasonable” sums of money spent on preserving the health and well-being of the elderly.”

Beware the new world order but not the socialist one. The one that is organised by the banks. Go on Utube and watch Aaron Russo’s videos it is all there for anyone who really wants to know what is going on.
Well done Glenda yours was one of the most honest contributions.
Just an observation I am in favour of equality on all fronts but I am opposed to anything that creates division in the ranks of working class people.
Feminism can and has created divisions and when promoted in the US it created another layer of labour at cheaper rates than male counterparts and while men were doing battle with women the employers were rubbing their hands and raking in the profits. No wonder the CIA thought it was a good idea and actually funded the movement. Unity not division is what we need always be aware and question who is behind it all. J P Morgan! Rockerfellas!Ford! are all names who come to mind there are many more all linked to major banks.
I agree I abhor feminism it has taken choice away from females and created a cheap labour force, who are forced to hand over their babies too strangers and work for minimum wage. No longer are males paid a living wage to enable them to support their wives and families.
I am a product of this system my Mother worked full time all through my childhood and I swore If I ever had a child I would stay home with said child, which I did do, even though society makes you feel worthless if you take this path but I had my priorities right, I knew it then , I know it now.
All the unhappiness in the world is down too children who were not loved, if we loved our children more the world would be a far better place.
I am glad a woman agrees with me. The banks and multinationals don’t give a damn about humanity they have done a deal with devil and would gladly take us back to the medieval serfdom system. They care not for the family and communal caring that was the hallmark of the post WWII period of the 60s and 70s. Then along came the ideology of greed and no such thing as society championed by her who will not be mentioned and is now being extended by that slug who holds her in high esteem. His mob are intent on forcing good mothers into the workforce or taking away their means of existence. We must resist with whatever power we have.
“Similarly, Dr Sharon Bennett lists herself in the register as a shareholder in the private company DictateIT, which types up dictated notes.
However, according to information on the company website Duedil, which searches information at Companies House, it is her husband, the Conservative MP and former Cabinet Minster Andrew Mitchell who owns the shares.”
