e-petition - Stop Unfair Re-assessments For Disabled People
Responsible department: Department for Work and Pensions
Stop the unfair and cruel re-assessments via ATOS for disabled people currently on Incapacity Benefit. ESA is a flawed benefit, and puts terrible pressure and stress on vulnerable people, putting people who cannot work on lesser benefits and applying sanctions. Let disabled people decide for themselves if they can work, they and their carers know best.

they want it all so we will have to go quietly
The SNP government and the SNP, as well as the Green Party and the Scottish Socialists, each and every one support universal benefits. Which is what we will have in an independent Scotland.
Those that ‘have’ will always find reasons to justify telling those that ‘have not’ that they deserve even less..
It doesn’t matter how loudly you scream from the rooftops that you aren’t workshy scroungers..There are very few jobs full stop, and even less that are willing/able to accommodate someone with a disability, so what is meant to happen to them? Doesn’t the Government have a duty to make sure they are housed fed and kept warm?
Apparently not if it means some mega rich twat has to buy one less crate of Moet..
Keeping an eye on the petition for Cameron and Osborne’s resignations, I was 10 minutes ago routed away from the page in question three times in a row although I’ve had no problem accessing any other website this morning and I was then shocked to see about 40 fewer signatures than the 8,550 plus I would have sworn blind I’d seen yesterday.
I attempted to get onto the page again five minutes ago and found once again that the “connection to the server was reset while the page was loading” although it worked after trying it again.
I would put nothing past this government, their every action is conspiratorial. Demand their resignation.
