More info
On Thursday 30 June, members of several trade unions across the UK will be taking part in co-ordinated strike action against cuts to pensions, pay and jobs. Up to 700,000 workers could be on strike across the country.

In Glasgow, members of the PCS union in job centres, passport and benefits offices and other government departments will be on a 24 hour walkout. A rally is set to be held in George Square at 12 noon.

BLACK TRIANGLE CAMPAIGN will be addressing the rally.

We will be calling on all members of the PCS and other attendees at the rally to march from George Square to ATOS on Cadogan Street to express their solidarity with sick and disabled people who are suffering a modern day POGROM at the hands of the the ConDem régime.

This page will be updated shortly.

e-petition - Stop Unfair Re-assessments For Disabled People

Responsible department: Department for Work and Pensions

Stop the unfair and cruel re-assessments via ATOS for disabled people currently on Incapacity Benefit. ESA is a flawed benefit, and puts terrible pressure and stress on vulnerable people, putting people who cannot work on lesser benefits and applying sanctions. Let disabled people decide for themselves if they can work, they and their carers know best.
