e-petition - Stop Unfair Re-assessments For Disabled People
Responsible department: Department for Work and Pensions
Stop the unfair and cruel re-assessments via ATOS for disabled people currently on Incapacity Benefit. ESA is a flawed benefit, and puts terrible pressure and stress on vulnerable people, putting people who cannot work on lesser benefits and applying sanctions. Let disabled people decide for themselves if they can work, they and their carers know best.

My Take on the whole Carbuncle – http://jaynelinney.wordpress.com/2013/01/04/dear-ed-balls-workfare-doesnt-work/
can i use that picture of byrne on my dart board?
A brilliant new development for the wonderful young disabled people of the UK. Encourage any young disabled person you know to join Jack in standing up to the bullies.
“My name is Jack and I am 8.
I am starting a Young Disabled People Against Cuts Group, so children can protest together with the help of our guardians.
We need as many young people as we can get to join in with YDPAC. ( Young Disabled People Against Cuts)
I wish the Government was not making the cuts. If it was up to me, I would ban them from making cuts!
Young people are affected by the cuts faced by our guardians. If my mum doesn’t get her car before 2 years is up we won’t get a car because of the cuts. When we’re 16 we may lose our DLA, and other benefits and help we rely on now.
If you want to get involved with YDPAC let me know via mail@dpac.uk.net”

You might conclude it’s appropriate to ask Cameron and Osborne to step down so we can get back on track:

And while the country is coming to it’s senses and before they are kicked out, demand that they do something with their time and call for a Cumulative Impact Assessment of Welfare Reform, and a New Deal for sick & disabled people based on their needs, abilities and ambitions

The unemployed need to be “working and training, not claiming”, the shadow work and pensions secretary, Liam Byrne, said, as he outlined Labour’s plans to protect itself from the politically damaging charge that it is soft on welfare claimants. havent labour heard anything whot we been saying nah its on deaf ears again its without doubt were are these jobs coming from as most dont want to be unemployed but then they listened enough to the torys that they also stuck in that mould yep mould dead stuff jeff3
A thought for the shadow chancellor and the rest of the shadow cabinet :-
Do you remember what you did when you bailed out the banks?
Has ANY of that money actually made its way back to the treasury?
NO?
If that’s the case, then your workfare proposals are the least of your worries.
I’m on welfare because BOTH the coalition and YOUR PARTY failed in their employment policies.
There is NO POLICING of the DISABILITY DISCRIMINATION ACT – Employers in my Area do not want additional costs to their business, even though the adaptations would cost very little to implement.
I am QUALIFIED in what I want to do – but between you Parliamentary Meddling has put a 16 year old ahead of me – Great,
I’ve worked for everyone else in an Office Related Capacity (because JCP can’t fathom the skills on my CV). Things got so bad the last lot got me Signed off – seems to me you want me to provide my skills for FREE – because when it’s paid – the disabilities get in the way.
And Now you say you want me out working ? TERRIFIC! just a little too late IMHO.
its bar of soap and towel time they cant get work or give us any but they can say we not trying to so take our money away and still they go on its our fault fault its you the mps and goverment for allowing this you took remploy away and now theres more of us nah you the mps dont get it you want us gone quietly so that you can carry on with yourgrubby fingers in the till yes when it comes down to it its you are the social scroungers and find no help from you jeff3
well said brian dispair for disable mentally or physical lambs to the slaughter and no redress or bail out or understanding of sick people, the hardship becoming to much to bare
