  1. Very well put. If Labour does not oppose this vile and unethical tory government on this major issue, it might as well bow down and just continue to exist as Blairs tory lite , the party that no one wants. Then in 2015 we get more of the same. Your call Milliband.

  2. the Labour party are scum

having sold the people down the river and betrayed their essential being there’s nothing left for them to do except pick up their expenses

  3. We NEED the Official Opposition to ACTUALLY be an Opposition Opposing
Destructive Regime Diktats and Aiming to Instantly Repeal them the Moment
    they come to Power

Stuff the Consensus of No Choice Mentality we Need those Tory Diktats Reversed
    Now

  4. Equally this ” Welfare Uprating Bill ” Needs to be Properly Opposed so it does Not
    become an Act

People Fiddled about More than Enough over the ” Welfare Reform Act 2012 ”
which should Not of been an Act had it been Properly Opposed in the First Place

The Official Opposition has a Duty to Provide that Opposition to this
    ” Welfare Uprating Bill “

  5. Ed Miliband has publicly opposed the cuts. That’s great. Laour are consulting with the public currently, regarding their Manifesto – also great because it shows a commitment to reflecting and meeting public needs. That will never happen with the authoritarians that we have in office now!

That the labour party have opposed the cuts is a positive. It’s happened, and I couldn’t give a shit what the invisbile “Blairite” may or may not have to say. It didn’t matter

  6. ” David Cameron and George Osborne are sounding ever more shrill about the supposed divide between “workers” and “shirkers”, or “strivers” and “skivers”; ”

and who are supposed to be the workers and the strivers ?
perhaps osborne, cameron and the friend bankers ???

e-petition - Stop Unfair Re-assessments For Disabled People

Responsible department: Department for Work and Pensions

Stop the unfair and cruel re-assessments via ATOS for disabled people currently on Incapacity Benefit. ESA is a flawed benefit, and puts terrible pressure and stress on vulnerable people, putting people who cannot work on lesser benefits and applying sanctions. Let disabled people decide for themselves if they can work, they and their carers know best.
