Welfare Reform Act

I am a student photographer and my wife has been disabled since 2006.

We are extremely worried my wife may suffer due to the reforms to benefits and allowances.

As part of my college work, I am working on a photographic project that will hopefully show the claimants perspective of suffering from physical and/or psychological disability.

I am looking for people in the Edinburgh area who have similar fears about the reforms and how it will affect their lives.

If you would would like to participate please contact me via e-mail:

inckbsgarden@hotmail.com or telephone 0759 333 9623.

Many thanks, David Bissett

e-petition - Stop Unfair Re-assessments For Disabled People

Responsible department: Department for Work and Pensions

Stop the unfair and cruel re-assessments via ATOS for disabled people currently on Incapacity Benefit. ESA is a flawed benefit, and puts terrible pressure and stress on vulnerable people, putting people who cannot work on lesser benefits and applying sanctions. Let disabled people decide for themselves if they can work, they and their carers know best.
