    I am reminded of working at a cheque processing factory in the 90s, when toilet breaks were limited to one per day, and any more was regarded as suspicious.

    Now I am self employed part time, and the most important person to me is my virtual assistant M, who I pay as much as possible and try to make feel treasured, her opinions valued, I want her to be happy. If I wasn’t a full time carer, I would love to increase my work and have more time to give to her.

    As a carer for a disabled child I will resist any attempts to put us in a ghetto or infantilise us with a list of items we may or may not own. On the other hand, a single person’s prison cell is larger than that for which we are charged bedroom tax, so prison may have an allure!

In the Orwellian nightmare of Nineteen Eighty-Four, there is a phrase, a moment so blood-curdling and obscene in its graphic nature and imagery, that when I first read it as a young Teenage lad – I almost felt violated by it .. to paraphrase Orwell “If you want a vision of the future… Imagine a boot, stamping on a human face – forever!”

    That image haunts me NOW. For THAT is EXACTLY what is happening to those who are being lumped into a homogenous mass of “undeserving poor” – the Jobless, Sick, Disabled and Mentally Ill who have been TRANSFORMED by endless lies and Press and Media Propaganda into the ‘equivalents’ of 1930’s German Jews.. And KNOWING the methodologies and systematic persecution of Jews in the SAME WAY.. The future CANNOT be found through peaceful means.

    I’m sorry. But THOSE are the FACTS.

    How we fight is questionable – but we cannot do so divided or alone..

    The risks are obvious: the stakes are high, the rewards uncertain.

    Each and every person is deemed to be an equal, the provisions of your policies have sought to take away the equality of the poorest to the greed of the richest.
    The word VILE would be an understatement, hang your heads in shame. If we had been in a theatre of war, you would probably be looking at the gallows…
