Chart: The welfare and tax gaps including proportion due to systemic error “Some coalition ministers point out that of the £3.1bn of identified fraud and error in the benefits system in 2009-10, only £1bn is attributable to fraud, as opposed to system failure. Of the £2.1bn identified in the tax credit system in 2008-9, only £460m is attributable to fraud.” Meanwhile, before the election in March, HM Revenue and Customs updated its ‘Measuring tax gaps 2009‘ report and outlined that, “The size of the UK tax gap is estimated to be around £40 billion in 2007-08.” The tax gap is “the difference between tax collected and that, which in HMRC’s view, should be collected.” Only £3 billion is attributed to error with £5 billion due to criminal attacks, £7 billion due to tax evasion and a further £7 billion due to tax avoidance.

It’s true. Tax avoidance is in it’s TRILLIONS a far cry from the FEW million that gets lost! It’s infuriating. The really rich can only have so many cars, so many mansions, so many servants, so many planes….. It’s out of control greed and being selfish.
It needs to stop, if they are alive when England’s predicted armed revolution starts….. all those hiding behind the curtains that control us…. A bullet in their head or hanging… won’t be enough and THEY will be made to suffer.

P.s. As well as being an EXCELLENT sales and motability specialist for Doncaster Nissan (unlawfully sacked in 2010 after being formally diagnosed with aspergers syndrome and dyspraxia after SEVEN YEARS), Sheffield Employment tribunal covered it up due to their own staff being on my deaf verbatim recorded system(……. I have also been an ESTABLISHED Civil Servant…… with……… Inland Revenue. Gulps. So yes I even know of one inspector that drove a customer to suicide “just because I don’t like him” and he did nothing wrong apart from filling in a late form due to either illness or confusion, can’t remember which but it was probably a bit of both.
