As a survey reveals that disabled patients have been driven to suicide due to the Government’s fitness to work test, it’s time to fight back.
Six per cent of doctors have experienced a disabled patient who has attempted – or committed – suicide as a result of “undergoing, or fear of undergoing” the Government’s fitness to work test.
The survey, highlighted by Exaro, the investigative website also found 14 per cent had patients who had self-harmed as a result of the test.
As I’m commenting on this, I’m so angry that the words are crashing against one another in my fury.
People are either contemplating, or actually committing suicide, because their Government, our Government, are pushing through with policies which defy all understanding.
The survey found that one in five GPs had at least one disabled patient who had thought about suicide because of the test.
There are people are dying because their elected representatives have chosen to make the welfare reform a reality.
In 2011, the Government ordered that everyone on incapacity benefit, some two million people, should be assessed.
This is just the beginning as George Osbourne set out plans for £18 billion in welfare savings by 2014-15.
And yet it seems to me that disabled people are always remembered for a politician’s PR photo opportunity, but forgotten when it comes to pushing through dehumanising policy.
This is robbing disabled people of life chances and meaningful existence, but with an eye to the polls, the votes and the perceived will of the public, no one will speak out.
These men and women are choosing death because life is offering no meaningful option.
They have no champion, they have no hope. So they tell their doctor. These doctors are ignored by the people paid to bring the savings, but these same doctors have made an oath to save lives.

Another day, another life ruined, another saving.
The fact is, this cost-saving initiative sometimes neglects and deliberately targets people for whom life is already difficult. Disabled people have become the cannon fodder for a UK war on welfare.
The “cheats”, the “liars”, the “scroungers”, and the “scum”, are nothing less than the victims of propaganda so seductive in a time of austerity, that no one believes them anymore.
Crime against disabled people is on the rise with more than 65,000 hate crimes being reported in the last year.
The blame game has become the norm.
The myth pervades and dilutes the unreported truth so convincingly that there is no hope for people who need to be believed.
A society is judged on the protection of its most vulnerable members.
Our society is now a gang of elitist bullies who seem hell bent on destroying the lives of disabled people while claiming it’s in the best interests of those it attacks.
Like any abuser, the Coalition claims that this was justified. Like any abuser, they are blaming their victims whilst terrifying them into silence, and in some cases, even death.

If we really fight to save all the innocents from this evil we will be called terrorists , but one mans terrorist is another mans freedom fighter.
we are only terrorists if we use terror tactics. no violent non compliance is the way to defeat tyranny, but it requires numbers, and the problem here is the ignorance of the masses.

They should go after the greedy bankers and tax dodgers who caused this mess, not disabled people who had nothing to do with it.
While we have Judges, Police, Lawyers,Politicians, in fact every member of the higher echelons of society on the take from the tax evaders. While we have the laws of this land corrupted and twisted to protect the true criminals of the predicament we find ourselves in today, the worldwide mass fraud committed by a handful of utterly corrupt and immoral people if you can call them people. Someone has to pay for their corruption and because the so called people we elect to represent us are utterly corrupt and can be bought for the price of a holiday, there never will be any justice in this country. Imagine 5 or 6 million people marching on parliament and the house of commons, now there’s a misuse of the language. Camoron cousin to the queen, all of them multimillionaires or married to multimillionaires, they shouldn’t be allowed anywhere near the house of commons, that’s one thing they are not. While these criminals have shares in armaments factories there will always be wars. While we have the likes of Lansley and co owning pharmaceutical company’s, it’s in their interests to privatize our N.H.S. That way they can steal more of the nations wealth. The sick and or disabled, the unemployed, the underpaid,the homeless, many many people made poor by the workings of 30 years of corrupt government will be blamed and made to pay. The sheep on 40 grand a year who cannot see beyond the end of their noses and have not got the mental capacity to see beyond the propaganda spouted by these true leeches of society, justice will be slow in coming.The only financial crisis, is the one the corrupt bastards have created to steal our country’s wealth and almost every penny we all pay in one form of tax or another.They have made the mess they should be made to pay. If someone grows weed to make money and they are caught that money is seized as criminal proceeds. Fraud is Fraud any kind of fraud and ignorance of the law is no excuse, these corrupt leeches should have their ill gotten gains seized and they should be sent down with no remission. We all need to take our country back. You cannot rely on any of the main parties to sort things out, they all eat from the same trough.
