    The only thing that is clear is that Mr Miliband wants to leave enough “wriggle room” to do whatever he likes if he ever gets the opportunity. Yes, there are of lots of unknowns in the future, but nevertheless he could (if he wished and had the guts) make his priorities clear. He might for example commit to finding x% of the welfare cuts from the defence budget in any situation barring WW3. Not so hard to do if indeed he is the man he claims to be.

    I do understand this I would rather an MP says nothing than something he can’t for fill.

    Where is his ETHICAL bottom line, Chris Gare? What’s not to understand? He doesn’t appear to have one!
