I think we seriously need to examine human-nature here and ATOS employees who are actively encouraged and forced to make up their misinformed criminally neglectful bullshit.

  • Pink Parrot January 26, 2013 at 7:33 pm

What a nonsensical reason for not getting rid of ATOS – because people who’ve had appeals would have to go through the whole process again – they will anyway! Many cases where someone has had their benefit reinstated only to find they have to start the whole process over again a few months later.
Anyone who has had the degrading experience of a WCA would be DELIGHTED to see the back of ATOS and their ‘health care professionals’ (what would bull****ers do without euphemisms?)
It’s like saying we can’t stop the psychotic serial killer, he’s already bought the chainsaw.
The US call them an outlaw company and disability deniers. Why do our citizens have to be subjected to them and why do British workers’ taxes have to pay for them?
Which MPs have interests in this company? We must demand to know!

http://www.thecourier.co.uk/news/local/dundee/injured-war-veteran-fighting-for-disability-allowance-1.65872#articlecomment is yet another article about someone being found not quite sick enough to deserve DLA.

and what exactly has happened since the Meacher debate …..NOTHING!!!
To this government this issue means NOTHING. They are busy now finding where to dump nuclear waste, and giving money to Syrian rebels and even considering who a new leader might be. WE CAN ALL DIE AS FAR AS THEY ARE CONCERNED – JUST LIKE IVAN, HEY DAVE????

“adverse media coverage”. They are jokers aren’t they? It’s fine and dandy for them too peddle propaganda and lies in the media but say anything they don’t want mentioned or spotlighted and it’s, “adverse media coverage”!

  • jay January 27, 2013 at 6:28 pm

Exactly, I’m surprised government complaining about adverse media coverage when their has been virtually none for them. Plenty of adverse and misleading coverage about the sick and disabled more like.
    A
s MP’s they have made their decision about Atos they don’t have to suffer the consequences so the majority of them couldn’t care less.

It would be worth an investigative journalist’s time to dig deep and find out what financial links MP’s have with Atos & Unum.
That is of course if there is any upcoming John Pilger’s who want to make a name for themselves in their profession instead of churning out useless government propoganda.

It’s incredible how politicians weasel words can brush off any incompetence on their own part.
That old joke is so true about How do you know when a politician is lying?
    When their lips move.
